Get a JUMPSTART on the New Year…
Get a Jumpstart on the New Year and be a biggest loser! I AM!
I think some of you might recall that in my “Tag, I’m it!” post from October, I announced one of the four things on my to-do list was to lose 40 pounds…

…I finally made the commitment to lose those 40 pounds! Today, I am only 16 pounds away from this first goal and have already lost 25 pounds! This time, I might even lose more!!
WHAT GOT ME STARTED?
______________________
Shortly after my October weight-loss goal announcement, I met with a close friend whom I see on a regular basis. To my amazement, during the three weeks since I had last seen her, she had lost 17 pounds! Huh? I know, I know, I was on the same page…it sounded too good to be true! I asked her a lot of questions about her diet and the program. In the back of my mind, as she was telling me all of the details, I was thinking, it must just be her luck.
Then, I saw the same friend two weeks later, and this time, her total weight loss was already 25 pounds! So, I thought to myself, this can’t just be luck, there has got to be something to this program. Hmmmmm… At that point, all I could think about was how happy I would be if I could lose that same amount of weight in only 5 weeks. She had seriously caught my attention and got me thinking…A week later, I made the phone call to JUMPSTART MEDICINE.
I have since learned that if you are ready to make a change and learn healthy eating habits to last a lifetime, then the JUMPSTART MEDICINE program is for you. And as for me, I was more than ready!
Since my first meeting and weigh-in, I have lost 25 pounds, and have even gone down two clothing sizes. It has only been 6 weeks, and I feel great! I have discovered more about myself and my relationship with food through the JUMPSTART MEDICINE program than I have with any other diets or weight loss programs.
Before starting the JUMPSTART MEDICINE program, I had already lost about 25 pounds during the past year, by giving up drinking sodas and committing myself to regularly exercising. This past summer, I began walking with a friend, Stacie Tamaki, who is the founder of The Flirty Guide and Best Wedding Blogs. Together, we started a new networking group called, The Wedding Walkers. Walking, Talking, Getting Fit! A wedding networking twist!

Overall, I feel very lucky to have discovered a weight loss program that works for me! I have spent time over the last few weeks cleaning out my closet and donating all of my big clothes to The Goodwill, Career Closet-San Jose, and The American Cancer Society. There is no reason to keep them, because I am convinced I have made a change for a lifetime!

Track my weekly weight loss progress here on the sidebar of TWC (The Wedding Chat). I hope this post inspires some of you to make a change. I can’t think of a better way to go into a New Year, can you?

Truly Divine & Delicious…
What is a Petit Four?
For some of us, this means a small taste of a French dessert that can be eaten in one bite, such as a tartlet or éclair. For others, it means a miniature, multi-layered almond butter cake with a flavored filling, covered in icing and decorated with a rose bud, a ribbon bow, or monogram pattern. Mmmmmmm! Just where do you find these little pieces of heaven?
DIVINE DELIGHTS is a company whose specialty is making delicious, miniature cake petit fours. Their cakes and fillings are made from scratch using only the finest ingredients, such as real lemons, pure vanilla, the finest chocolates, and real fruits. These small bites are sure to delight any party crowd and can be delivered right to your door!
