Oodles of Doodles!

DIY Brides! Create your own wedding invites, shower invitations, thank-you cards, stationery, and more with these Wedding & Party Doodle fonts by OUTSIDE THE LINE DESIGN.

OUTSIDE THE LINE DESIGN is a one-woman company created by Rae Kaiser, a graphic artist and digital font designer. I would say she has a “feather in her cap,” since her wedding doodles are even featured on invitations currently offered by the well-known retail stationery store, PAPYRUS.

If doodles are what you love, then visit OUTSIDE THE LINE DESIGN to see her her entire collection that includes other fonts, such as Diva Doodles, Holiday Doodles, and Baby Doodles. Clearly, these doodles are more INSIDE the lines than out!

These jelly beans aren’t for eating!

Because they’re for decorating! You won’t see any more of those overly used and seen everywhere glass marbles in any of my event or wedding designs. Instead, I use small, very smooth, high-polished pieces of glass referred to as Jelly Bean Glass newly created by AMERICAN SPECIALTY GLASS. Jelly Bean Glass comes in a variety of colors and sizes and below I have highlighted a few colors…Raspberry, Strawberry, & Green Apple. Mmmmm…Great names of yummy flavors, but remember these Jelly Beans aren’t for eating!

To give some of you DIY brides a start with ideas on how you can use this product, below is an example of how I made use of AMERICAN SPECIALTY Jelly Bean Glass in one of my recent designs. As you can see, they were used to fill the bottoms of tall vases with candles and blue glass pearls as an accent. Too, they can be used in floral arrangements to replace those dreadful, overused marbles. You can even hide waterproof LED lights tucked within the glass to lend a magical glow to your designs. Information about the LED lights will be posted here on the wedding chat soon, so keep checking back!

Perhaps you are known for your crafty inspirations and projects, and, maybe, you even have fans who can’t wait to see what you will dream up next? Well, even assuming you would want to craft your own wedding invitations…if you aren’t up for the task and would rather worry about your dress and other wedding logistics, then you can leave this creativity to a company that masterfully creates invitations with a whimsical DIY look and feel, such as UNIQUE ARTISTRY. Everyone will think you made these invites yourself!

Unique Artistry Invite Samples

Just a small sample of Unique Artistry’s invitations.

These invitations can be purchased through only a select few retailers, and a list can be found on the UNIQUE ARTISTRY website. One of the companies I have worked with before to create a UNIQUE ARTISTRY invitation that I would like to highlight is BIRCH in Los Altos, California. There is a certain reassurance that comes along when working with BIRCH because they are a team of talented graphic designers that can push the limits when it comes to creativity. If you are looking for UNIQUE ARTISTRY invites or other outside-of-the-box-type invitations, then BIRCH is one of the places worth a visit! Who knows…you might even pick up some stationary, wrapping paper, or birthday cards from their cute little shop, too!
