It is worth all of the ’sweet’ sacrifice…
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
From The Wedding Chat

Since losing weight is such a popular New Year’s Resolution, I thought I would update you all on my progress with my recent diet/lifestyle change with Jumpstart Medicine.
As it turns out, I actually hit a plateau these past few weeks. I took advantage of the much-needed holiday ‘resting’ opportunity to begin increasing my exercise program and incorporating strength training, which is the likely culprit for the plateau and my need for more rest and sleep. I struggled to not let the plateau discourage me, and yesterday, New Year’s Eve, I finally gave in and had a HUGE cheat day! I have discovered….IT IS SOOOO NOT WORTH IT! I felt very sick and uncomfortable all throughout the night and morning. On the bright side, I now know what happens if I don’t eat well and have learned what to expect should I go off on an eating spree. Also, I have learned that this new eating/lifestyle change is worth every ‘sweet’ sacrifice. I have officially gone from a size 18W/20W to a regular size 14/16 on the bottom and from a 22W/20W to a regular size 16/18 on the top. I got a size 14 pair of jeans from Banana Republic, which I never could have imagined would be possible!! Especially after yesterday’s lack of control and splurge, today I have to acknowledge that I am very happy to be where I am at right now and accept that no matter how long it might take to drop a few more pounds, I am simply going to enjoy this time and enjoy what I have been so fortunate enough to accomplish in such a short period of time. Anything is possible!
And we are off to another incredible year, filled with endless opportunity and, of course, a lot more blogging!

YAY! I’m so excited for your weightloss and wanted to tell you that you inspired me to hit up a medspa close to me that does something similar to you. I’m so excited to get started!!!!!!
Thanks for that totally cool chat a few weeks ago. You ROCK like a ROCK STAR!!
P.S. – I’ve heard if you do light weights BEFORE you do cardio, it actually tears into your sugar in your body and breaks that down first, which means the entire time you are doing cardio, you are burning FAT!
